    well worth  a few miles travel,
     well worth the price  of a meal;
 willing to  Hit Hard  with  humor,
 (the risks, the risks;    the fine line
              walked,    but never missed);
 her bantering the treat,  the teasing play
 between a sharp mind   and a caring heart;
 undisguised,   just   lightly  beguiling.

        How nice!   the start,  the way
          words can touch  (sometimes
            far better   than skin),
     words can sing  without melody
        (sometimes without sound).
