on the wings of flapping ears they flew
 these denizen spies of the higher reaches
  along strains of melody they rolled along
   like a jet-powered monorail
            flying down a web of night skies
    on the skin of spiderly legs
                         so shiny and bright
  from a carpace as thin as drums are tight
   their feet played a music so delighted
  and so amusing that spyDuhs all curled
   up!     as daylight appeared and all
            fell asleep for the night.
